Sheep skin paint rollers are considered by many professional painters as superior compared to synthetic rollers. They are easy to wash out and absorb and release the paint better.
Sheep skin is a natural product. Therefore you need to wash and dry the rollers regularly to prevent deterioration. If you leave the roller regularly in water overnight you we find that the life-time reduces dramatically and big chunks of wool will come of the roller. The sheepskin will simply start to rot away and you can detect an obvious smell. Make sure you at least refresh the water, if you really want to leave the roller in water overnight. |
